Erika Sandford Barnhart
MANAGER OF BIOLOGICS DIVISION
Erika Barnhart holds a B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from MIT. She started at SpineFrontier as a mechanical engineer designing products for the cervical spine. Erika now manages the Biologics product line and has worked to obtain the company’s tissue license. Before coming to SpineFrontier, Erika held internships at the NY Center for Agricultural Medicine and Health, Steelcase, Inc. and GE Healthcare. During her education, she also spent time working at MIT’s Innovations in International Health and completed her graduate research in the BioInstrumentation Lab.
BIOLOGICS PRODUCT SPECIALIST
Alana Lacey holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Biochemical Engineering from Northeastern University. Through Northeastern’s Cooperative education program, Alana worked for Desco Industries and Pioneer Surgical. As SpineFrontier’s Biologics Product Specialist, she is responsible for growing the biologics product line, assisting with tissue bank logistics, and executing and compiling research and case studies. Before coming to SpineFrontier, Alana worked for Pioneer Surgical as a Research and Development Engineer in the Biologics division.
